on top of Paso de Cortez you have wonderful views of the two volcanoes Popo and Izta...
or for those of you brave enough to pronounce the whole names:
Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl.....both over 5200 m high...
this one you can climb:
but Popo is closed as it could erupt every second.....so for safety reasons they closed it after the last eruption in 1994....
and at the moment there is no snow on Popocatepetl.....
